FSorb DesignPrint
Utilizing advanced direct-to-substrate imaging, FSorb panels can be customized with high-fidelity graphics, brand-accurate colors, and hyper-realistic architectural textures like wood grain and stone. Our acoustically transparent finishing process ensures zero impact on the panel's NRC rating, delivering a zero-VOC, scuff-resistant surface that arrives pre-finished and ready for rapid installation.
Printing Specifications
Print Image Requirements for Fsorb Panels
To ensure high-quality output and maintain our print standards, please review the following technical specifications before submitting artwork for printing on FSorb acoustic panels.
Artboard Setup & Panel Dimensions
Each individual print sheet or panel must be placed on its own clearly labeled artboard, sized to its final print dimensions.
Compatible Thicknesses: RECOMMENDED: 1/2" FSorb panels; OPTIONAL: 1" FSorb panels (limited use - confirm prior to submission); NOT COMPATIBLE: 2" FSorb panels.
Printing is optimized for 1/2" material, stocked in all standard and premium colors.
-
Max Print Area: 48" x 120" for 1/2" sheets.
-
Safe Zone: 0.25" minimum from edges.
-
Bleed: 0.125" if artwork extends to the edge.
Color Mode & Color Accuracy
Create and review artwork in a CMYK color workspace using the appropriate production color profile. FSorb uses direct-to-substrate printing. White FS-100 is recommended for best color fidelity; panel texture and base color can affect results. HEX, Pantone (PMS), or CMYK values may be supplied as color references, but exact matching cannot be guaranteed.
Image Resolution & Scale
All raster images must be submitted at 300 DPI at full print size.
Example: For a 4' x 8' FSorb panel (48" x 96"), your file must be 14,400 px x 28,800 px at 300 DPI.
Gradients, Transparency & Color Management
Create gradients using actual CMYK color values whenever possible. Review transparency, opacity, and blending effects, and flatten when required by the production workflow to prevent unexpected results.
Review black levels, saturation, contrast, and gradients in the intended CMYK production space.
Fonts & Images
Convert all fonts to outlines. Embed or properly link all images to prevent missing assets.
File Organization & Accepted Formats
Keep working layers organized, label artboards clearly, and include required bleed settings.
Raster Files (High Resolution): JPEG, PNG, TIFF, PSD (flattened), PDF (with embedded raster image).
Vector Files (Preferred for Logos and Line Art): AI (Adobe Illustrator), EPS, PDF (vector), SVG.
Final PDF Export & Review
Once artwork is fully prepared and verified, export a print-ready PDF using appropriate production settings. Review the exported PDF to confirm dimensions, colors, gradients, transparency, fonts, and images render correctly before release to production.
General Notes & Lead Times
All artwork must be final and approved prior to production. Custom proofs may be available upon request and may incur an additional cost with lead times expected up to 4 weeks.
